Dive into Fun with a Family Day Free Swim Sponsored by FortisAlberta

Feb 6, 2026, 18:27 PM

As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen community connections, we’re excited to bring back the FortisAlberta Family Day Free Swim! Throughout the Family Day weekend, aquatic centres across our service territory will be opening their doors for free public swim hours, giving families a fun way to celebrate the long weekend together.

We are also proud to partner with the Town of Legal for a Family Day Free Skate at the SVF Sports Centre! The event runs from 12 – 3 p.m. and will feature the presentation of the Town’s new electric Zamboni, sponsored by FortisAlberta. In addition, attendees will enjoy games, face painting, hot chocolate, giveaways and other family-friendly activities.

Check the chart below to find a participating location near you and plan your Family Day swim (or skate if you’re in the Town of Legal area!).
