In The Community

We’re Alberta-proud, and committed to creating positive change where we live and work. Being active in your community is important to us and is an integral part of our business.

FortisAlberta has partnered with Empower Me, Canada’s only energy conservation and education change program designed for and delivered by members of diverse, multilingual and hard to reach communities. FortisAlberta will work with the Empower Me program to educate the underserved populations in its service territory and bring the Empower Me energy efficiency, education and behaviour change program to these communities. The Empower Me Program is currently available in 16 languages including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi, Tagalog, Arabic, Spanish and Korean.
