
FortisAlberta recognized as one of Alberta's Top Employers in 2025
Jan 28, 2025, 21:42 PMFortisAlberta has been recognized as one of Alberta's Top Employers for 2025. This marks the fifth consecutive year the company has received this designation, which recognizes employers in Alberta that lead their industry in offering exceptional places to work.
Here are some of the reasons why FortisAlberta was selected:
- FortisAlberta helps employees prioritize their well-being through internal programming organized by its wellness committee and access to external mental health resources. The organization also provides mental health care coverage (up to $2,000 annually).
- FortisAlberta supports employees in planning for the future with retirement planning assistance services and contributions to a defined contribution pension plan. Employees also have the option to transition into retirement gradually through flexible phased-in retirement work options.
- FortisAlberta invests in ongoing employee education with generous tuition subsidies of up to $3,000 for courses taken at external institutions and offers academic scholarships for children of employees (up to $1,500).
