Employee riding across Canada for STARS
May 23, 2018, 14:07 PMFortisAlberta believes in supporting STARS Air Ambulance. Its work saves Albertans’ lives, including those of a few of our colleagues.
One of these people is Jeremy, who was out mountain biking in 2015 with his friend Guy, and another of our colleagues. Jeremy had a serious crash and STARS rescued him. Guy will be starting a fundraising ride on June 1 across Canada, to raise enough money to cover a STARS rescue mission. Jeremy will be joining him for the Calgary to Regina stretch.

Our annual donation to STARS supports their human patient simulator to educate more than 200 first responders each year. We have supported STARS for over a decade.
We thank STARS for all they do for Albertans, bringing people like Jeremy back home. And we thank Guy, whose generosity and commitment to the cause inspires us all.
